| Distinguishing features |
Titan is the largest moon of Saturn and the only known moon in the solar system with a dense atmosphere. Its atmosphere, primarily nitrogen, is more dense than Earth’s atmosphere. The moon is composed of ice and rock. Explorations of Titan’s surface by the Cassini–Huygens mission have revealed a lake of liquid methane. |
