Distinguishing features	Europa, a Galilean moon, is just slightly smaller than Earth’s Moon. The ice-covered moon has one of the smoothest surfaces in the solar system, marked by cracks and streaks, with few craters. Scientists believe there is a salt-water ocean beneath the surface.
