The Snow Telescope and two of its mirrors
Two images of the Snow solar telescope: One showing the exterior and one a closeup of the heliostat.
Building: Courtesy Huntington Library (Mt. Wilson Observatory) Mirrors: Courtesy Yerkes Observatory
Two of Snow's three mirrors are shown. The lower mirror (the "coelostat," seen from behind) tracks the Sun and sends its light to the second mirror (on tall support post). From there, the light is bounced to the primary mirror (not shown), which is sheltered in the long shed-like building.
