Question 1:
Have you ever looked through a telescope? If so, what did you see? If not, what would you like to see?
Answer:

If you have looked through a telescope, you may have seen objects that are part of our solar system: the Moon, or planets such as Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. You may have seen objects that are part of our Milky Way Galaxy: a nebula, such as the Ring Nebula or Crab Nebula, or a double star such as Mizar and Alcor, the second star system from the end of the Big Dipper’s handle. You may even have seen a galaxy outside our Milky Way, such as the Andromeda Galaxy.

During this International Year of Astronomy, you may get your first opportunity to view the sky through a telescope. If you were given this opportunity, you may choose to view any of the objects listed in the sentence above, or you may select another object to observe.
